Code Policy

This Code Policy outlines the guidelines and restrictions for using, contributing to, and distributing Unify’s software, APIs, SDKs, and related code assets (collectively, the "Code").


1. Acceptable Use of Code

You may only use Unify’s public code, SDKs, and APIs in accordance with applicable licenses and the terms described in this policy.

You may:

  • Use Unify SDKs and APIs for lawful, authorized purposes.
  • Fork, extend, or adapt open-source components in compliance with their respective licenses.
  • Submit respectful feedback, bug reports, or proposed improvements.

You may not:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with Unify’s protected systems or code.
  • Bypass licensing restrictions, rate limits, or authentication mechanisms.
  • Use any code or system for malicious purposes, including malware, scraping, fraud, or service disruption.

2. Contributions

Unify may accept community contributions such as patches or pull requests. By submitting code to us:

  • You grant Unify a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and distribute your contribution.
  • You represent that you have the legal right to submit the code.
  • You confirm that submissions are free of malicious behavior and do not infringe on third-party rights or contain proprietary code without permission.

3. Proprietary Systems

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all internal services, backend infrastructure, proprietary source code, and business logic remain the exclusive intellectual property of Unify.

Any unauthorized access, use, reproduction, or distribution of proprietary code is strictly prohibited.

4. Open Source Components

Some parts of the Unify ecosystem may utilize or distribute open-source libraries or dependencies. Each such component is subject to its respective open-source license. Please review those terms before use or redistribution.

5. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • Suspension or termination of access
  • Legal or regulatory action
  • Revocation of access to licensed software and APIs

Unify reserves the right to modify or update this Code Policy at any time. Continued use of our Code or Services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
